Phalaenopsis micholitzii is a species of plant in the family Orchidaceae. It is endemic to the Zamboanga peninsula in the island of Mindanao, Philippines. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss and overcollection.A polychilos species from the Philippines. Warm-growing and shade-loving, keep moist in a sphagnum moss or small bark mixture. If your humidity levels are high, this plant also grows well on a cork slab. This plant can flower at a small size and overall is a compact plant. First bloom plants are usually no larger than 5" across in leaf span. The species itself has albino-like colors of white and green with some yellow in the lip (excluding it from being a true albino). It is also one of the few polychilos said to not have any fragrance. The next time they flower, we will smell, just to make sure.
