It is a small to medium sized orchid, with epiphytic behavior , like all species of the genus Phalaenopsis with monopodial growth . It has a short stem bearing from 2 to 10 leaves form from elliptical to obovate-cuneiform, to round and notched apex. Flowering normally occurs from spring to autumn , by means of a curved inflorescencethat projects laterally, 15 to 50 centimeters long, branched and carrying in each branch from 2 to 7 flowers. These are 3 to 4 centimeters large, quite thick, shiny in color ranging from greenish white to yellow with marked fuchsia to brownish patches in petalsand sepals (both lanceolate). The labellum is trilobed with raised lateral edges and pink spotted with orange and has very jagged margins and some white appendages on the central lobe. [2]
